Baseball Host Military Appreciation Game on Veterans Day

The MCC baseball team honored Veterans Day by hosting a Military Appreciation Game, recognizing those who have served and continue to serve our country.
As part of the event, the team collected donations for the Kansas City Veterans Affairs (KCVA). Thanks to the generosity of the community, parents, MCC faculty and staff, and the softball team a remarkable number of essential items were gathered, including:
- 71 pairs of socks
- 23 hats
- 36 pairs of gloves
- 78 T-shirts
- 16 sweatshirts
- 26 pairs of sweatpants
- 1 coat
- 117 combs
The baseball program extends a heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed and helped make the drive a success.The event served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of community involvement and appreciation for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
