2021 Spring Season Recap

Wolves men's basketball opened the 2020-21 season with a compacted game schedule as well as the untimely injury to the team's returning lead scorer. Throughout the season, the team competed each game, but struggled finding wins to show for their efforts. The team ended their season with a loss to the St. Louis Archers in the Region XVI semifinal postseason game. Travis Carson was selected to First Team All-Region, and Carlos Montilla was a Second Team All-Region selection.

Leading the team this year in scoring was Travis Carson at 18.3 points per game. Freshman, Carlos Montilla, was the second leading scorer at 15.8 points per game, and led the team in rebounds (6.5 per game) and assists (4.3 per game). Sophomore, Anthony Bell, was second on the team in rebounds at 6.1 per game. 

This year was a tough year for the men's basketball team, yet the coaches were encouraged by the effort and positive attitude throughout the season.  We are hoping to see improvement in our returning players and add some key pieces next season so the team can one again challenge for the Region XVI Championship.
