Champions of Region 16
The MCC men's golf team won the NJCAA Region 16 D-II Men's Golf Championship at Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville, MO. Murphy Scott, Trey Stone, and Jack Stone won First Team All-Region, and Caleb Seale won Second Team All-Region. The team also competed in the eight team NJCAA South Central District tournament and placed third behind Tyler Junior College and Seminole State College. Murphy Scott placed second place in the tournament and made the All-Tournament Team along with Trey Stone. The men's team finished their season ranked 17th in the NJCAA Division II National rankings.
Both Murphy and Trey qualified for the NJCAA Men's D-II National Tournament to compete as individuals. The National Tournament will take place May 18-21 in Plymouth, IN.
