The MCC Wolves men's soccer team hosted cross-state rival St. Louis Community College Archers in a midweek showdown. The Archers struck early, scoring within the first two minutes and maintained a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Coming out of the break, St. Louis added another goal to extend their lead to 2-0. The Wolves responded with a great goal from Colten Parsons, who chipped his shot over the goalkeeper to cut the deficit in half. MCC's goalkeeper, Travis Eddleman, had a strong showing in net, recording 12 saves throughout the match. Despite his efforts, the Archers scored two more goals late in the game to seal a 4-1 victory.
The Wolves return to action on Tuesday, September 23 at 3:00 p.m. for our "Pink Game," as we continue to support breast cancer awareness through the Pink Ribbon Good organization.
