Wolves Continue Hot Streak in Myrtle Beach

The Wolves played two more games Thursday at the Fastpitch Dreams Classic, and the bats stayed hot. MCC scored 22 runs on the day while collecting 28 total hits.

Game 1 Recap

Three Wolves had perfect days at the plate in a big win over Mohawk Valley. 

Alannah Hodges went 4-for-4 with two triples and two singles. Kylee Dickey also finished 4-for-4 with three singles and a double, while Ashton Russell went 3-for-3 with three doubles.

Abbi Minton delievered another strong performance in the cirlce. The starter pitched all five innings, allowing just three hits and one run.

Game 2 Recap

Madison Nickell tossed a shutout over South Suburban, helped by strong defense behind her. 

Nickell scattered seven hits over seven innings while striking out one and walking one. 

The offense continued its hot streak, collecting 11 hits in the game. Alexis Rusley and Allison Shipp were a force in the middle of the lineup, each recoring two hits, while Russell led the team with two RBIs. The Wolves also totaled six extra-base hits in the game. 

MCC will wrap up play in the Fastpitch Dreams Classic tomorrow when they face Oakton College at 10am a dn Lackawanna College at 2pm.
