Wolves Take Down Grizzlies Thanks to Powerful Offense
The Wolves have caught fire this week, winning five of their last six games. The offense has been rolling, scoring at least five runs in each game.

Game 1 Recap
The Wolves jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back, erupting for 15 runs over five innings.
Eight of nine players recorded a hit, with seven of those players tallying multiple hits. Alannah Hodges led the way with a triple and a grand slam, finishing with four RBIs, one walk, and three runs scored. Gretchen Freeman went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, while Ashton Russell was 2-for-3 with a home run, tow RBIs, and two runs scored.
Ana Mondello got the start in the circle and was dominant, pitching all five innings while allowing just five hits and one run.
Game 2 Recap
The Grizzlies struck first in Game 2, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. MCC answered right back with four runs of their own, highlighted by a home run from Ashton Russell and an RBI single from Allison Shipp.
The Wolves continued to produce offensively, adding six more runs over the next five innings. The Grizzlies battled back to make it a one-run game in the top of the seventh, but MCC held on for a 10-9 victory.
Abbi Minton earned the win, pitching six innings while allowing eight runs (three earned) on 10 hits and two strikeouts and one walk. Ana Mondello came in the seventh to secure the save.
The offense was fueled by multiple contributors, as Jada Gilliland, Allison Shipp, Alexis Rusley, and Ashton Russell each collected two hits. Russell and Shipp both drove in three runs, while Russell and Rusley also drew two walks apiece.
