The Wolves battled throughout the game but ultimately fell to Johnson County Community College. Katrina Wilson led the way with a double-double, recording 10 points and 11 rebounds, while also protecting the paint with two blocks. Desinique Dawkins chipped in 8 points as well.
Turnovers proved to be the achilles' heel for the Wolves, stalling momentum and giving JCCC extra scoring opportunities in the contest.
The Wolves will look to bounce back as they take on the Pirates of North Central next week in a Region 16 match-up.
