2021 Region 16 Champions
The MCC women's golf team won the NJCAA Region 16 Women's Golf Championship on April 19. Two of our golfers, Lauren Muller and Jenny Ensign, won First Team All-Region and Head Coach Cole Dillon won Coach of the Year. The team finished as the number 15th ranked team in the NJCAA National polls in their first full year of competition.
Ensign and Muller went on to compete individually to represent MCC at the NJCAA Women's National Golf Tournament in Ormond Beach, Florida, from May 10 -13th. Jenny carded scores of 84/85/92 through 3 rounds, while Lauren scored 88/95/92. Weather delays forced a reduced field of golfers for round 4, so both just missed qualifying for the last round of National Tournament play. Jenny and Lauren are the first golfers as MCC Wolves to qualify and participate in the NJCAA National Golf Tournament.
