MCC women's soccer hosted the 10th-ranked team in the nation, Kansas City Kansas Community College. Midway through the first half, KCKCC struck from long range to take a 1-0 lead. With under a minute remaining before halftime, Jillian Mueller netted the equalizer for the Wolves with a free kick from outside the box.
The Wolves' goalkeepers played a key role in the result, combining for seven saves. Alexus Phillips made three saves in the first half, while Nneoma Okoro kept the Blue Devils scoreless in the second half with four saves of her own.
After a tightly contested second half that saw no additional goals, the Wolves walked off the field with a hard-fought draw.
