The MCC Wolves volleyball team hosted the East Central College Eagles on Saturday afternoon for their Education Day game. The Wolves started strong, winning the first set 25-11. The second set was more competitive, but MCC pulled ahead to take it 25-19. In the third set, the Wolves maintained a lead for most of the set and secured a 25-19 win, completing a 3-0 sweep.
Sophomore Kaylee Kindall led the Wolves' offense with 14 kills and a .545 kill percentage. Brinn Wright and Aubrey Rhodes facilitated the offense with 19 and 18 assists, respectively. Defensively, Jenna Burroughs led MCC with 23 digs.
The Wolves' next home match is Tuesday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m., when they will honor service men and women on Military Appreciation Night.
