The MCC Wolves picked up a hard-fought 68-65 win over Chandler-Gilbert Community College, despite a dramatic second half. MCC controlled the opening 20 minutes, building a 19-point halftime lead, thanks to a strong defensive play and balanced scoring.
Pierre Smith led the Wolves with 15 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block, making key plays on both ends. Devonte Watson assed a powerful presence inside with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
