Game 1
On Tuesday, April 1, MCC Wolves took on Region 16 opponent North Central Missouri College Pirates.
The scoring started early for the Wolves. In the bottom of the 1st inning Daelyn Williams doubled to score Alahna Wilson. The Wolves would go on to score in five of the six innings and secured a run rule victory, thanks to a 3-for-3 day from Daelyn Williams and multiple hits from Enos, Freeman, Gilliland, and Adams.
Payton Smith picked up her 2nd win of the season, going six innings, striking out three, walking none, and only giving up two hits in the shutout.
Game 2
After giving up three runs in the top of the 1st inning, the Wolves plated seven runs in the bottom of the inning and never looked back.
Riley Collins got the start for the Wolves in the circle and gave way to Madison Stansbury, who would go on to pitch 4 scoreless innings. Stansbury gave up two hits, struck out two, walked one, and surrendered zero runs in her outing.
The bats remained hot in Game 2, going for 13 runs on 12 hits. Minton and Buell were a force at the bottom of the line up, both going 3-for-3. Williams and Brown would both collect two walks each.
